You don’t need a specification, a budget or a decision made. The spreadsheet everyone patches by hand, the pipeline that fails at six in the morning, the report nobody trusts — that’s enough to start from.
What helps
Four things that make the first reply useful.
- Where the data lives now. ERP, CRM, spreadsheets, a database somebody built in 2014 — whatever it is.
- Who is waiting for it. Finance, operations, the board, a customer. It changes the answer more than the technology does.
- What breaks. Late numbers, wrong numbers, numbers two departments disagree about, or a process somebody does by hand every month.
- Any deadline that’s real. A close, an audit, a migration, a contract. If there isn’t one, say that too.
What happens next
Three steps, and a person at every one.
- One of us reads it. Not a chatbot, not an assistant. There are two of us, so it is one of two people.
- You get a written answer saying what we think the problem actually is — architecture, pipelines or reporting — and whether it’s something we can help with.
- If it’s worth a conversation, we propose a call. If it isn’t, we say so and point you at what we’d do instead. That answer is free either way.
What we won’t do
Three things this form is not.
- It’s not a newsletter sign-up. We don’t have one. Writing to us doesn’t put you on any list.
- We don’t share or sell your data. What you send is used to answer you and nothing else.
- We won’t chase you. One reply. If you don’t come back, that’s a complete and reasonable answer.
The form
Tell us what isn’t working.
Only the first two fields and the message are required. Everything else just saves us a round trip.
